Key Improvements & Changes at Essco 8/19/2024

Hello Valued Customers,

I am writing to share important news about key improvements happening now at Essco.

Distribution Center Performance

Over the last 12 months, our team has made positive changes in Essco’s ordering and shipping processes to deliver a stronger, more reliable experience for all of you.

  • Our error rate has dropped by 40%
  • Top selling product availability has increased by 15% and continues to grow
  • New Continuous Improvement projects are kicked off every month

We are not stopping there.  We have found over several months of review that for many reasons, we simply serve you better from our Twinsburg, Ohio location than we do through our partner in Nevada.  Given that, effective Monday August 19th all new orders will be filled out of our Ohio location.

Placing operations solely in the hands of our full-time Essco team will deliver positive results for all of us.

Freight

We understand that our distribution footprint change could impact transportation costs for some of our Customers.  We also know that the freight polity we have used over the last two years had some flaws which needed correction.

To address both concerns, effective Monday August 19th we are lowering our free freight threshold to $250 nationwide (pre-existing freight agreements will continue to be honored).* Click here to view the new freight policy.
